Alright, the exam is now over. I had to be at the testing site by 7:15 am in order to go through security and be admitted. Then the first half of the exam started at 8. I did the best I could with it. Overall, there were some problems I just didn't know and had to guess at, but much of it I was able to handle. It took me about two hours to complete, then I had a break till 1:15. We reconvened, went through security again, then started taking the second half at 1:45. The second half was definitely rougher. The questions were harder in general, and covered a lot of subjects that are only loosely (or, in at least 1 case not in the least bit) related to my field. I did the best I could with it, but I'm not as confident. Took me about 2 and half hours to complete, then I got to leave. With travel time, I was home about a half hour before the exam ended.
Now all I can do is wait for the results.

ReplyDeleteDon't let waiting for the results darken your days. The hard part... taking the actual exam... is over. Relax, and go about your life as if nothing happened. Not overly confident, and not overly pessimistic. Be ready for the good news!
ReplyDeleteAt this point, it's back to working on my own projects. I have a new cosplay to complete, the first one I've done in about five years, and some other projects I'm working on. Whatever happens now, happens.
