Recently, Caitlyn of Caitlyn's Masks went through a difficult time.  In dealing with it, she sought to capture some of the emotions in captions.

As I so often do, I have decided to steal this for myself, to see if perhaps I can trap a few of my demons in words.

Short Story

So recently I made a caption for someone on one of the other sites I visit.  Now, I generally enjoy the captions I make, but for some reason this one just really grabbed me.  There was something about it that just really got me going.  I found myself writing far more than could fit in a single panel.  I toyed around with the idea of expanding it into a story.  I ended up having a bit of free time, so I decided to just go ahead and do it.

You can find the story after the jump.  But, be aware that it is set in a world of anthropomorphic animals.  If that doesn't appeal to you, feel free to skip this one.  But if you do read it, please leave me a comment.  Did you like it, not like it, suggestions, constructive critisms.  Heck, write me a chapter?  Did it inspire you, do you have some new escapade for the characters to be involved with?  Share it with me.  Anything to let me know if this is something I should try to do again in the future.

Pirate Treasure?

A quickie cosplay cap.  Inspired by...well, I really have no idea where this one came from honestly.

Story snippet 1

Ever since I was a child, I had wanted to write stories.  I loved reading and I wanted nothing more than to write my own books.  Unfortunately, through the years I have never been successful.  I can write scenes, short little sections, but when I try to connect them or expand them into full stories they always fall apart.  Now, as an adult, that tendency has not changed.  But I still, every once in a while, get the urge to write.  I have tried to write some erotic stories, but the same problems prevail.  Nonetheless, I thought that I would share my latest piece, a snippet of a story that came to me.  What came before, what comes after?  I don't know.  Feel free to use your imagination.  The story can be found after the jump.

This one is from one of the weirder parts of my mind, but I think it came out rather well.

I'm not sure where this one came from, but I'm glad it did!
