Convention Volunteer

So, this is another one of those that has been kicking around in my head for a while, but I could never quite get right.  Well, today I was inspired.  Actually, I was inspired by what will be Friday's weekly comic (you'll have to wait till then to see it!).  But, while inspired, I also hopped in the shower for a bit.  A good warm shower is where I do my best thinking (go ahead, picture it, you know you want to).  While there, I was able to put together most of what was missing from this caption.  I sat down, wrote out the rest and filled it in as I wrote.  And this is what I came up with.  Of course, now I'm going to be late for work, so I hope you all appreciate it.

Battle in the Maze

Due to some personal issues, I've been finding it very hard to caption lately.  I've wanted to get back into things, try to focus on some of my creative pursuits a bit more, but it hasn't been easy.

I've had this image and the basic idea for quite some time now.  I figured it would be easier if I started by going back to some of my old, unfinished ideas rather than trying to go completely from scratch.

Ok, for some reason Blogger keeps messing up my longer captions.  Before it would shrink them.  Now it is turning them sideways.  For now, I've also included the text with a seperate image, like a short story.  Click the read more link below to see it.  Hopefully, I'll soon be able to figure out why Blogger keeps doing this.

Cosplay

Ok, so as some of you know, Otakon is coming up (this week in fact).  So I've been spending a lot of time gearing up for that.  I'm still settling in and unpacking at my new place.  Oh, and I work outdoors, so I was outside for about 8 hours a day all during the heatwave (105 degrees F, baby!).

But, fear not!  This is not another excuse post.  No, there are captions below!

At the con

Another one that I've been toying with for a long time.  Sometimes I just know there is a story there, but it takes me a while to find it.  I had much of the details of this one planned, but I finally made it coalesce.

And yes, I could have ended it on a clean note.  But where is the fun in that?

Cosplay Quickie

Ok, another quickie.  This time I've had the image in storage for practically forever.  The "one more time" aspect of the image was so obvious I just had to use it.  I had that part written from the moment I saw it.  But I only just found how to fit it into a transformation theme while still holding it.  This is definitely one of my favorite captions.
