Ok, so a little advice on being a considerate house guest.  When you are visiting someone else's home, even if they are family, unless you are specifically asked to do so, DO NOT REARRANGE ANYTHING!

No matter how much you think you could do it better, or how silly it may seem to you, leave things as they are!
