Zero Hour

Ok folks, first off let me say thank you to all of you for waiting patiently.

We are entering the zero hour now, and, despite bank of america being COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT, there is nothing more I can do now but wait.  Hopefully by monday or tuesday I will know for sure about the mortgage (I've been approved and received a commitment letter, but I still had to submit all my financials for review before final decisions are made).  That just leaves the fire inspection, scheduled for this week as well.  If all goes well, we could close this week and I could move in as early as this weekend or the following.

I know many of you have been patiently awaiting responses to comments and questions, as well as waiting for new material to show up.  I appreciate you waiting, and ask that you hold on just a little bit longer.  Right now I need to focus on getting ready to move.  Then, when I get to the new house there will be a bit of time to get everything settled in, as well as a window of time when I won't have any internet connection.  However, hopefully soon I will be moved in to my new home, at which point I will start catching up.  It also means that a great deal of stress will be taken off of me, both the stress of buying a home and the stress of my current living conditions, which should mean that I'll be able to be more creative.

So again, thank you for waiting, and please wait just a little bit longer.  I promise things will be back to normal soon, and that I will start answering all of your comments and questions.

  1. Good luck sweetie, I tried to re fi with BofA 2 years ago, went thru the process of inspection ( I paid for ahead of time ) 2 months later, after delays with the bank we got with in 10 days of closing and they sent a letter saying they are not doing any home re-fi's anymoer and cancelled the deal. I was so pissed.
I just did a re-fi with quicken. took 2 weeks start to close, no hassles, no crap..
    They were the best...

    Good luck..

  2. Thanks, I'm going to need it. Bank of America has always been good to my family and I for our banking needs, so I was extremely disappointed with how they handled my mortgage application. Completely incompetent.
