Those of you on the east coast, or those of you who follow the news, know that there was a recent hurricane.
I bring this up, because one of the results is that my car has gotten flooded. I'm not hurt, the car is being repaired. Please don't ask for more detail than that, I really don't want to talk about it. But I did lose a number of my belongings, including a large stock of my books, and possibly both my laptop and cellphone, both of which got wet. As of writing this, I am not home, have not even yet been home. Some family members took me in for the time being. I am hoping to get home later today. However, I do not yet know if my home even has power yet, and I may have lost much of my food. Needless to say, it is going to take time for me to get back on my feet, and possibly even longer before I'm in a good enough mood to start captioning again. For those who have made recent comments and are awaiting responses, or those simply waiting for new work to show up, please be patient. Eventually, I will be back, but I simply need time.
P.S. to those who know me on the Haven, I can not remember my password right now, so I can not access it. If someone would be kind enough to copy and paste this post in my "until the blogs return" post I would greatly appreciate it.
I really hope that everything is alright for you. I wish you luck.
ReplyDeleteI will email a reset version of your password to the email address you have listed on the Haven.
ReplyDeleteFrom there, you should be able to log on with the reset password, then change it to whatever you want it to be.
I lost most of the roofing shingles to the hurricane, luckily we did NOT get the rain or we'd probably have had our apartment flooded. They are supposed to be replacing the roof tomorrow, hopefully!
Hang in there babe!
Dee
Actually I just saw that you were at the Haven this morning, so I assume that you've gotten your password issues all taken care of, so I won't reset it now.

Thank you for your well wishes.
ReplyDeleteAnd Dee, thank you for your help and concern. What it is, is that I have the password saved on my desktop and my laptop, neither of which I had access to when I made this post, and I did not know how long it would be before I could get back on. I still don't remember my password, but at least I can still get access.
