Convention Volunteer
So, this is another one of those that has been kicking around in my head for a while, but I could never quite get right. Well, today I was inspired. Actually, I was inspired by what will be Friday's weekly comic (you'll have to wait till then to see it!). But, while inspired, I also hopped in the shower for a bit. A good warm shower is where I do my best thinking (go ahead, picture it, you know you want to). While there, I was able to put together most of what was missing from this caption. I sat down, wrote out the rest and filled it in as I wrote. And this is what I came up with. Of course, now I'm going to be late for work, so I hope you all appreciate it.

Hmm, there seems a bit of confusion as to how he views himself now, which might be intentional on your part. Either way, its a wonderful caption and I'm sure he'll become a regular on the con circuit!
ReplyDeleteOne of my oft used 'hooks' in captions is the idea that the 'subject' has been feminized in both body and behavior, but their mind (usually through some sort of hypnosis or other mind control) is unable to register that they have changed. To them, their body is still male, their behavior is perfectly normal for a man. They are oblivious to the changes, and their mind will adjust or rationalize anything not correct to support their self illusions.
