Remember what I said about having fixed my computer problems?  Unfortunately, it seems I have not.  It could be a problem with the video card, the ram, the cpu, or possibly the primary hard drive.  Unfortunately, trying to replace each of those to see what, if any, fixes it would be an expensive proposition.  It seems that I am more likely going to have to instead switch to using my laptop for a time while I save up money to buy a new machine.  The one I have now is old, and it is getting harder and harder to get replacement parts for it.  But switching means I'll lose a lot of programs and possibly even data, not something I relish.  But I have to do what I have to do.  Unfortunately, money is already tight due to the hurricane and christmas, so I'll probably be on my laptop for a while.  And that means that captions and comics are going to be hard to work on, and will likely be delayed.

Sorry, but it's just the way it is.  Until and unless I get a larger income, it is hard for me to make expensive purchases.
