Perhaps this is just the glue fumes talking, but I have come up with another idea for a game that I think is pretty interesting.  Instead of being a roleplaying game, this one would be more based on tabletop style games such as warhammer.  In essence, it would be a combining of elements from my old Coliseum game and chess.

The basic premise is that there is a war between three empires.  They are the Golden Dragon, Scarlet Phoenix and Onix Tiger empires.  Players take the role of warriors fighting for one of the empires.  The game is laid out on a grid, with each empire having a castle.  Within the castle resides the emperor.  Opposing warriors will seek to capture the emperor and bring him back to their own castle.  Warriors can move a certain number of squares per day.  Squares can be trapped, so that an enemy stepping in to one falls into it.  And two opposing warriors who meet on the same square do battle.

Here is where it becomes an Angel style game.  Whenever a warrior is defeated, his opponent can expend "energy" to transform him into a sexy girl.  Dragon warriors become blondes, Phoenixes become redheads, and Tigers become brunettes.  The winner can then capture the girl and bring her back to his castle.  Because the only way to regain "energy" is through having sex.  So by capturing enemy soldiers as girls, they can be used to replenish the strength of your own army.  However, if a warrior needs a quick "pick me up", he can fuck his fallen foe in the field and regain energy.  Doing so, though, allows the girl to escape, where she can make her way back to her home base.  Once there, she can either "take one for the team" and allow her team mates to use her as an energy source, or she can be turned back into a warrior by the emperor.  The emperor can only restore one defeated warrior per day, however.  Girls can not fight in the war, however, as they are compelled to seduce and have sex with enemy warriors by the transformation spell.  As such, they can not defeat or capture enemy warriors, and would only serve as a boost to the enemy.

Each empire has a dedicated concubine who remains in the castle.  Thus, even if they have no fallen warriors or defeated foes, the warriors can still recharge.  However, each girl can only serve one warrior at a time, so the more girls an empire has access to the faster the army can get recharged and back on to the field.

If an emperor is captured and successfully brought back to an enemy castle, he becomes imprisoned and his empire loses its ability to restore fallen warriors.  That empire's warriors can seek to rescue their emperor and return him to his own castle.  If successful, the empire fights on as normal.  If an emperor is captured and all of an empire's warriors are defeated, that empire falls.  The game is over when one empire remains, and all of its foes have become toys for their pleasure.

Now, I've not yet worked through all of the mechanics.  I have a basic idea of how it would work, but it would need specifics.  Would people be interested in playing such a game?  It would require quite a few players, ideally at least five per side or more (and it must be equal).  It would also require a dedication on the players parts, as it would have to be agreed upon how often actions update.  In other words, would it be each day at a certain time (meaning all players must "post" once per day), would it be every other day, once a week, etc.

What are your thoughts on this?  Does it sound like fun?
