Alright, so I don't know if anyone even still reads this blog or not, but for those who do here is the scoop.

On Monday, due to the hurricane, I was asked to voluntarily evacuate my home due to the potential for dangerously high winds.  My home, being a manufactured home instead of a traditional house, was only rated for winds up to 80 mph.  So I quickly stuffed a bag full of essentials and some of my valuables and left to go stay with some family members.  During the storm, they ended up losing power when a transformer blew due  to a branch hitting it.

I stayed there for a few days while travel bans were in effect.  Once lifted, I was able to return home.  I found that, other than no power and some debris in the yard, I suffered no effects from the storm.  I have been carefully conserving battery life on my phone.  Fortunately, I had a gas stove and a gas hot water heater, and I am on city water.  I also had a fireplace if it got too cold, but I was trying to keep temperatures down in order to keep my fridge cool.  I have not yet taken inventory of what I lost, but I'm hoping it was not too bad.  Power was restored to my neighborhood about an hour ago.

I don't know if I'll be putting up any new posts, including my usual weekly comic.  It's been stressful, and with no power I couldn't exactly work on anything.  So we'll see what happens.
