So a friend and I went to see the Avalanche Tour last friday. It was way awesome, totally worth going for (even if it was the weekend before finals). It featured Halestorm, Skillet, Theory of a Deadman, and Stone Sour. It was a lot of fun. The lead singer for Halestorm is this tiny little girl, but she has enough power in her voice to shake the floors. And their drummer was nuts, he was going crazy. He was practically juggling his sticks while he was playing sometimes. Skillet was a lot of fun too, I was surprised that the female vocals for some of their songs were not from their guitarist but from their drummer. I've never seen that before. Oh, and their violinist was fun, he was totally rocking out while he played. For those who are interested, download links to .rar files containing pictures and short video clips I took while there.
